2024 Tryouts/Time Standards
To join the team as a new 5 - 10 year old swimmer, your child must “meet or beat” any one (1) qualifying time on the chart below. Remember, age 11 and up swimmers automatically join the team when registered and do not have to try out.
Swimmers ages 10 and under must be able to swim a certain distance using a particular stroke within a minimum period of time. These "Time Standards" ensure a minimum level of safety and skill for new swimmers to the team. These time standards can be found below. Evaluations for new swimmers for the 2023 season are:
- Friday, April 19, 2024 from 5:00pm - 6:30pm
- Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10:00am - 11:30am
Tryouts will be held at the West U Rec Center pool.
SWIMMERS MUST HAVE PAID THE REGISTRATION FEE TO TRY OUT!
